This video shows just how much damage can be caused from a low speed rear end car accident. Benson & Bingham orchestrated a study on the impact a car accident would have on a driver at four varying speeds: 5 MPH, 7 MPH, 9 MPH and 11 MPH. Many may scoff that a rear end auto accident at such low speeds could cause severe injury, however the simulation proves otherwise. The reality is that the smallest of fender benders can result in lasting injury as well as property damage far exceeding what the layman would predict.
